Naomi Bartley
Topeka, KS

Eleven-year-old Naomi Bartley is a proud Topeka native who has spent her whole life showing that a manual wheelchair doesn't slow down a big personality. Currently a 5th grader at Jardine Elementary, Naomi is the kind of person who dives headfirst into everything, from building at Lego Robotics and StarBase to performing in her church's annual Christmas plays. She also plays boccia, an adaptive sport. Those who know her best describe her as incredibly kind, inquisitive, and eager to learn, but it's her infectious giggle and "can-do" spirit that really stand out. Over the past few years, she has truly blossomed, moving past her differences to build deep friendships and even using school projects to speak up for other kids with disabilities. Naomi loves the Little Miss program because it connects her with a community where she feels she truly belongs. She is a natural-born advocate who wants to be Little Miss Wheelchair Kansas so she can make sure every other girl she meets feels just as welcome and empowered as she does.
