Junior Miss Wheelchair Kansas
Annaliese (AJ) Vitosh
Andover, KS
Annaliese Vitosh is a 16-year-old high school junior at Andover Central High School. She resides in Andover, Kansas. Annaliese, who likes to go by the name AJ, has had Perisylvian Syndrome since birth. She does not view utilizing a wheelchair as a restriction, but rather another path of moving in life. It's something that doesn't keep her back; instead, it's something that makes her unique and powerful! It certainly doesn't define her, but has shaped her into the strong, independent, and determined person she is today. AJ is very active and participates in basketball, track and field, pickleball, and tennis. She also enjoys swimming, water skiing, and snow skiing. She also participates in her local youth church group. Annaliese wants to do all she can to promote adaptive programs in Kansas. She wants to find ways to help eliminate barriers for wheelchair users. She wants to help create a society where everyone is valued and seen. AJ describes herself as competitive, sassy, determined, independent, and a goofball. AJ was a Junior Miss contestant in 2025 and will now get the chance to serve as Junior Miss Wheelchair Kansas 2026!
