• Must be a female age 14-18.

• Must use a wheelchair for a majority of daily mobility outside of the home.

• Must have resided in the state of Kansas for at least 6 months prior to the annual event.

• Must be willing to travel to various cities in Kansas and fulfill the Junior Miss mission.

Contestants submit an application with a portrait and letter of recommendation.
All contestants are invited to part of the Ms. Wheelchair Kansas weekend.
During the weekend event, contestants enjoy activities and informational sessions.
Contestants also take part in and are scored on an interview.
Contestants also give a short speech on stage about their platform and answer one question. These are scored as well.
The contestant with the highest total score becomes the new Junior Miss Wheelchair Kansas!
